Scar

"He's the most powerful man in the Colony."

Scar introduces himself simply as Scar, and describes his job as keeping Gomez free of uninvited guests alongside Arto, as well as looking after Gomez's women, making sure they have what they need, and taking hands whenever some idiot digger or warder thinks he can touch them.

Asked about the woman who arrived with the Hero on the supply carts, Scar tells him to forget about her, since she's Gomez's now. On the subject of Gomez himself, Scar calls him the most powerful man in the Colony, able to take whatever he wants, adding that what Gomez is truly after "is and always has been, power."
