Roscoe guards access to Lares, refusing entry to the Hero unless he has a very good reason to bother him. When the Hero arrives with a supply list taken from the Old Mine, Roscoe is stunned, blurting "You ... what? Is that a joke?" He correctly guesses that Thorus sent him, noting Thorus would absolutely lose it if he knew the Hero were here, and reacts with amusement on learning it was actually Diego's idea, figuring Diego would be laughing his ass off. Satisfied, he lets the Hero through to see Lares.

When the Hero mentions that Mordrag sent him, Roscoe is surprised the man is still around, asking whether he didn't turn coat after all, and asks the Hero to pass along that Lares wants to see him. Learning the Hero also carries a ring from Mordrag meant for Lares, Roscoe waves him on in.

When the Hero asks outright to join the gang, Roscoe brushes him off: "You and a hundred others, mate. If you want in here, you're gonna have to give me more than that."
