Orc Shaman

"It is not 'gotten.' It is MADE, by a 'shar-ulu', a maker of Ulu-Mulus."

Orcshaman lives apart from the other orcs and greets the Hero warmly, telling him he will never rest easy as long as Krushak is alive, insisting the Hero must kill him. The Hero later explains that Xardas sent him here calling the shaman his best bet for killing the Sleeper before it awakens. Asked about the name Krushak, Orcshaman explains it means "Destroy-biggest," the greatest destroyer, which is what his kin believe Krushak does, adding only "if only they knew."

He speaks the Hero's language because he studied it, and notes that orcs and morra, humans, hate each other, a hatred he says goes back to when Balyar and Innos told them to hate one another.

To get into the orc temple safely, Orcshaman tells the Hero he needs an Ulu-Mulu, the banner of banners that shows the wielder is a true warrior. Whoever carries it, the orcs will not attack unless attacked first. He explains that such a banner cannot be bought or found, only made, by a craftsman called a shar-ulu. He names an old friend, Tarrok, who can make one and will help if the Hero repeats a phrase the two of them used to say while hunting together: "Kurg kuzuk yor mukh."

When the Hero later returns from the orc city having secured something, Orcshaman is pleased, telling him he is a true warrior and praising that he fights well for a morra, while urging him to go speak with Tarrok about the Ulu-Mulu quickly.
