Lefty

"Oy, freshie! You got a second? The farmers are thirsty, and we need someone to fetch 'em some water."

Lefty greets the Hero as a freshie and asks him to fetch water for thirsty farmers, calling it a great way to make friends around camp. If the Hero agrees, Lefty sends him to find Ulmar, who hands out the water and instructions. If the Hero refuses or brushes him off instead, Lefty gets threatening, warning "I think you need a reminder who's boss."

Once the Hero completes the water run, Lefty praises the work, saying he's a natural and looked genuinely happy doing it, then pushes him to make deliveries a daily chore starting immediately. If the Hero later abandons the job, Lefty accuses him of going back on his word and says it disappointed him, though he offers a second chance if asked politely, warning him not to blow it this time. When the Hero simply checks in without doing anything useful, Lefty responds irritably, "Oh, fuck's sake! What d'you want?"
