Homer

"Strong as a fortress."

Homer is a former engineer from Khorinis, now in the Colony, where he says he led the construction of the camp's dam, though he's quick to note everyone helped. He tells the Hero he suspects a lurker has been gnawing at the base of the dam, since the beasts "love to sharpen their teeth and claws on underwater rocks," and worries the dam could cave in if it continues. He points the Hero toward the far side of the lake, reasoning people rarely go there so it's likely the creature has a lair somewhere around, and asks for help clearing the threat.

Once the Hero kills the lurker, Homer is relieved, saying he'll ask the Rice Lord to lend some of his men so they can start repairs, and that he'll "sleep a lot easier tonight." Checked on again later, he reports the dam is now strong as a fortress.
