Gor Hanis

"My supreme discipline paired with my impeccable swordplay and my iron mind will inspire many a lost soul."

Gorhanis is a templar of the Brotherhood who fights in the arena, explaining that the gurus sent him here to show the cesspool how strong his faith has made him. When the Hero challenges him to a duel outright, he refuses, unwilling to see "glory in butchering some green-blood in front of an audience," and tells him to prove himself elsewhere first, suggesting he ask the others since the mercenary and the Shadow don't care about the moral high ground. He agrees only to fight the Hero once he's proven himself worthy.

Asked about the Sleeper, Gorhanis defers detailed theology to the gurus but states his own belief plainly: "the Sleeper is our salvation," who wanted the Brotherhood to find this place and will free them in time. When the Hero suggests he's simply waiting on his god to spring him from the Colony, Gorhanis doesn't deny it, adding that the wait is almost over because the gurus are preparing what he calls a Hearing, which their prophet Y'Berion calls the first step toward liberation. For more detail he tells the Hero to visit the Brotherhood's camp directly, and mentions that novices stationed in the Old Camp can guide curious visitors there.
