Gilbert

"I just couldn't stand Gomez and his bootlickers anymore ... I also ran into some trouble with them."

Gilbert is a hermit the Hero finds living alone in a hideout, surprised to have a visitor and complimenting him for tracking him down. Asked why he lives out here, he explains he left because he could no longer stand Gomez and his followers and had run into trouble with them, though it's been a while since then. He doubts anyone in the valley would remember him now, but says he prefers his isolation, since there are too many idiots in that valley.
