"He just commands respect, I guess."

Cutter meets the Hero as a new face around the castle and explains its history: the fortress originally belonged to the king, but after "the mages fucked up their spell," Gomez and his men took it over. Cutter wasn't present for the actual storming of the castle, but says it was clear Gomez was the one to stick with, noting that even back when all the prisoners were crammed together in dungeons before the Barrier went up, Gomez was already the one calling the shots. He adds that the castle's dungeons are now empty, since Gomez isn't the type who takes prisoners.

Asked about life as a warder, Cutter calls it quiet, crediting the Old Camp's status as the biggest and most powerful camp in the Colony, one that no one messes with.
