Baal Tyon
"I saw him do something. He was going down an ancient stone stairway, a sword in his hand. And that's where the vision ends."
Baaltyon is a guru of the Brotherhood who ignores the Hero's greetings and small gifts alike, responding to an offered humble present with only a wary grunt and to casual talk with a sigh. He opens up only after experiencing what he calls a vision by the Sleeper's grace, in which a new Brother unlike all those who came before him descends an ancient stone stairway with sword in hand. Realizing the Hero resembles the figure from the vision, he grows suspicious, demanding "who are you? What did you put in that roll? Is this some kind of trick?"
When the Hero insists he is simply a humble servant of the Sleeper, Baaltyon decides the vision felt too powerful to dismiss and sends him on to Cor Kalom with his recommendation, declaring that such signs must be heeded.
