Baal Parvez

"He alone holds the power to free us from this wicked place."

Baalparvez is a recruiter for the Brotherhood of the Sleeper who greets the Hero with "May the Sleeper be with you, stranger!" and offers to guide him to the Brotherhood's camp in the swamps. He explains that the Sleeper first visited Master Y'Berion in a dream five years ago and has guided the Brotherhood ever since, and that joining means renouncing the three gods, Adanos, Innos, and Beliar, in favor of the Sleeper, who alone holds the power to free them from this wicked place.

He describes what the Brotherhood offers: freedom from working the ore barons' mines, plentiful food in the swamp, swampweed as both a mind-opening herb and a trade good sold to the other camps for supplies, and for a chosen few, the gift of magic, an ancient kind unlike anything the mages of Myrtana practice. He says the gurus are preparing a grand ritual so the Sleeper can finally speak in his true voice and reveal how to free them. He tells the Hero that if he wants to join, he should ask for Cor Kalom, who supervises the novices.
